Diplodocus

The herbivorous dinosaur Diplodocus reached an average length of 27 meters. According to scientists, the size of the largest individuals could reach 35 meters, due to the long neck and tail. Diplodocus could weigh between 20 and 80 tons.

Diplodocus' tail helped the dinosaur maintain body balance and also served as a means of communication between dinosaurs in the herd. The tip of the dinosaur's tail resembled a whip and had a protective function, warding off predators (link). Diplodocus' tail consisted of 70 vertebrae, which gave it special mobility and massiveness.

The eggs of the baby dinosaurs were very small. The female Diplodocus buried the eggs in the ground and left them. They would hatch and hide in the forest from the Allosaurs until they reached a certain age.
