Olorotitan

Olorotitan (lat. Olorotitan - “titan swan”) is a non-avian dinosaur from the family of hadrosaurs that lived relatively recently. Just 72 to 66 million years ago. An almost complete skeleton of olorotitan was discovered in Russia, in the Amur region of Kundur. A wide, hollow ridge formed from the expanded bones of the skull was pierced by nasal passages and was probably used to produce trumpet sounds.

The skull itself is supported by a fairly long neck, having 18 vertebrae; other hadrosaurids have a maximum of 15 cervical vertebrae. Philological research of olorotitan has led to the conclusion that it is very closely related to the North American corythosaurus and hypacrosaurus.
