Quetzalcoatl
The model of one of the largest known members of the pterosaur family is equipped with a moving mechanism. The head can be rotated and the model is accompanied by synchronized sound effects.
The predator - scavenger, weighed from 80 to 250 kg. The length of the body reached 10 - 11 meters.
To take off, Quetzalcoatl ran on four limbs, and when he reached sufficient speed, he switched to running on his hind legs, unfolded his wings and began to flap them intensively. As soon as Quetzalcoatl gained sufficient speed, he would jump up on two legs and rise into the air.
Landing on the ground was a real challenge for Quetzalcoatl. Flapping his wings vigorously as he landed, he tried to stand on his hind legs and then on all fours, often damaging his skeleton in the process.
